
Michael Bleau, Principal
Michael, founder, is our lead strategist and creative director. He has served manufacturing and consumer-related industries since 1986. Michael has direct experience in product, brand and name convention creation with the associated roll out to engineering and manufacturing associates. Prior to forming Industry Scope in 2002, a strategic B2B and B2C sales and marketing consultancy, he held executive marketing and account management positions for several globally-focused automation and systems manufacturers. Michael regularly consults with manufacturing companies on strategic planning, sales and marketing, branding, product development, PR and sales channel development. He also teaches related courses at Northwood University and contributes a monthly business column to Metalforming magazine. Versed in international sales, he has worked with clients in Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, the United Kingdom and USA. Michael holds a B.S and M.B.A. from Baker College and five patents with several additional pending for industrial, consumer and medical products.

Nancy Lesinski, Communications
Nancy is our communications and PR specialist. She has nearly 30 years experience in consumer and B2B marketing communications including the development of strategies for print and broadcast advertising, technical papers, print collateral, website and trade show approach and execution. In the last 15 years, she has focused on providing effective public relations programs and editorial services for regionally-focused global manufacturing companies. Prior to working with Industry Scope and starting Lesinski & Associates, she was vice president of public relations for a B2B, full service marketing communications agency where she also managed key client accounts. Nancy has solid relationships with editors from trade and business press publications across a variety of industry sectors. She holds a B.A. in Advertising from Michigan State University and is a member of the Automotive Press Association.

Michael Anderson, Designer
Michael leads our creative team. As a highly creative, detail-oriented graphic designer with over 15 years of experience, Michael is well versed in multiple facets of graphic design and print production. His range of experience includes annual reports, brochures, web, logo development, newsletter design and production, magazine/newspaper ads, newspaper composition and trade show graphics and display materials. Michael is highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite products, including Quark and other layout and production tools.

Shelly Zurek, Project Manager
Shelley is our special projects manager with a concentration in literature and media development in various industrial markets. She coordinates numerous, diverse projects with a high attention to detail to ensure that each is tightly organized and on pace. Shelley has lived in Switzerland and Canada as well as throughout the US. She has traveled extensively. She has over 13 years of experience, including working for General Motors in the areas of manufacturing, business planning, marketing and labor relations. Among her body of work with GM, Shelley participated in Suzuki Lean manufacturing, production supervision, advanced automotive feature planning, focus group management, UAW/CAW contract negotiation and survey design. Shelley has a B.S. in Industrial Management from General Motors Institute and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Aaron Berendt, Illustrator
Aaron is our industrial designer and illustrator. He has over 15 years experience working on custom illustrations (2 and 3D), logotypes, photographic retouching and design for automotive interior and exterior trim products. He has extensive experience with Alias, Showcase and the Adobe Creative Suite product lineup. Aaron earned his bachelors of Fine Art degree from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. He also teaches related courses at the Center for Creative Studies and holds patents for several industrial products.

Sue Crego, Art Production
Art production and management is a complex environment, and one that Sue has mastered in her two-plus decades of work with agencies and clients. Her experience with print and electronic media allows her to produce top quality work in sometimes unreasonable time frames. Her capabilities extend from design to final pre-press, and everything in between, and include the full range of today's sophisticated desktop software applications. Sue is also uniquely-talented in finding and figuring out the little things that can sometimes delay projects or result in an error — a key quality assurance advantage.
